Miss ya everybody

Ok I guess some of you have noticed that I haven't been on this page lately and I will get into it with you. I believe that honesty is the best policy. I will still continue to have this blog up but no more Wiccan stuff due to the fact that I did some soulsearching and even though I do practice it from time to time I consider myself Christian. I still uses herbs etc from time to time for protection etc but except for that I don't practice it. It took me a long time to figure this out. If you know my man, he would agree with that statement. I was going back and forth. I will not put anything about religion on this site since I got a seperate on as my "Christian Site" but I will keep you updated. So if that is the reason some of you on your profile you got the choice to keep me on it or delete me. Either way I would accept it but I would be sad to not have you there. Other then that, school has been keeping me extremmly busy and my depression has been acting up. Just needed to stay away from here and not write for a little while. Vegan Maple Leaf Cocktail

Yuzu Maple Leaf Cocktail It goes without saying, but cocktails should be mixed to your liking. Feel free to make tweaks the same way you would with any other culinary creation. You might like these a touch more tart than I do, or a hint less sweet. Go for it. If you can't find yuzu or Meyer lemons, absolutely have a go with regular market lemons. As I mention up above, you can find yuzu at some winter farmers' markets. They're also available at many Japanese grocery stores in the produce section, and keep nicely, wrapped and refrigerated. Also, if you don't have a cocktail shaker, don't let that deter you. I just use a jar in it's place, using the lid to hold the ice back (you can also use a strainer). 2 ounces / 1/4 cup bourbon (I used Michter's) 3/4 ounce / 1 1/2 tablespoon good maple syrup 1/2 ounce / 1 tablespoon well-strained, fresh yuzu juice 1/2 ounce / 1 tablespoon well-strained, fresh Meyer lemon juice extra small pinch of fine grain sea salt ice Chill a few small cocktail or cordial glasses in the freezer. I typically use ones that are larger than shot glasses, but not quite by double. Combine the bourbon, maple syrup, citrus juices, and salt in a cocktail shaker or jar (with lid). Fill with ice, cover, and shake vigorously - well enough that that maple syrup gets well incorporated. It's heavier than the other liquids and likes to hug the bottom of the shaker, you also want to give the salt time to dissolve. Strain into the chilled glasses and serve immediately. Makes 2-3 small drinks, or one larger cocktail. Prep time: 2 min

The crystal skull I am hoping to win

Happy New Year everyone! Life has been busy since I have recently hurt my back and trying to get ready for college again. I had an awesome holiday season and got loads of things. What I am really happy with is that I got to spend it with the love of my life and his family and of course with my family as well. I got into bidding on ebay and saw this fantastic crystal skull. My man collects them and I got fascinated with it. I will have more things to come spiritually, general and recipes. I have to get back to my mini classes but I will have another posting up on Monday in the day.

Happy Monday Everyone

Hi everybody, Life is great for me today even though I had some technical difficulites with the school computer but everything is good now. I did a banishing ritual by myself for the first time and after the fifth try it actually came out right. Yeah! One of the cats scratched me last night but as I see she was showing love for me. St. Johns Newfoundland

Hi there everybody Since yesterday was Samhain/ Halloween I decided that this is a good place to write about. As stories goes this is one of the haunted places in north america. Plus that there is a number of stores, clubs ( one whole street called George Street that is full of clubs and a festival each year),a huge university called memorial university that has a broad range of programs including nursing and education. It also has a cathedral and awesome restraunts of every kind. Also it has a place called Signal Hill where the first phone sound came from and a lot of entertainment example Theatres and Concerts.

Hi everybody, Can't believe that November is already here and that Christmas and Yule is right around the corner. Samhain/Halloween was good even though the only trick-or-treater was my mans one year old nephew. Each moment that I see him I treasure in my heart. I didnt do my Samhain ritual last night but I have set some goals for myself : Wiccan New Year last night. This includes: Studying and practicing Wicca, celebrating the wiccan sabbats and esbets. I will explain that next Wednesday. I am busy at school right now with one assignment next week and one test tommorow on two chapters. Oh my! Still I will make a point of being on this site daily except for Saturday and Sunday since my laptop is down right now. Well I have to go but much blessings. spiritualandbeyond32
